These accomplishments were made possible through the cooperative efforts of hundreds of students and parents throughout the past two decades. 1989 - Syracuse, New York - NYS Field Band Conference Championships, 4th Place - Open Class. 94.6 new record-high score for Championships
1989 - Phoenix, Arizona - Fiesta Bowl Parade & National Pageant of Bands; 1st in class in Parade, 2nd overall in Parade; 1st in Music; 2nd in Field Band Competition; 2nd in G.E.
1990 - Syracuse, New York - NYS Field Band Conference Championships, 3rd place - Open Class. Oswego broke the barrier of the "big 3" for the first time in nearly 10 years!
1991 - Syracuse, New York - NYS Field Band Conference Championships, 3rd place - Open Class.
1992 - Sayreville, New Jersey - CMBC Competition champions; best color guard, drum line and music.
1993 - Orlando, Florida - MusicFEST Orlando, Second Place parade; Grand Champions Trophy for concert and parade.
1994 - New London, Connecticut - US Coast Guard Academy "Windjammer Invitational Grand Champions, Outstanding Music Award.
1995 - Murfreesboro, Tennessee - 34th annual "Contest of Champions" Middle Tenn. State Univ.; Superior rating, top 15 of 35 bands.
1996 - Franklin HS and Union HS, New Jersey - CMBC Competition GRAND CHAMPIONS; best color guard, best drumline, best music, best general effect, best drum major.
1997 - Bands of America Regional, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City , TN - 2nd place in class AA, Finalist - 6th overall plus Outstanding General Effect
1998 - Parade of Champions, James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia, 4th place in class AAA, Superior Rating.
1999 - Phoenix, Arizona and our return to theFiesta Bowl Parade & National Pageant of Bands !!! 4th place overall in the Parade, 1st in music, 4th place in the National Band Pageant, Best Drum Major Award.
2000 - Bands of America Regional, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY - 2nd Place in Class AA, Top Ten Finalist, 8th Place overall.
2000 - Syracuse, NY, Carrier Dome, NYS Field Band Conference Championships, 2nd Place in Large School National Class, 96.82
2001 - Oswego, NY - Marching Buccaneers selected as Grand Marshall for the Annual Independence Day Parade.
2001 - Syracuse, NY, Carrier Dome, NYS Field Band Conference Championships, 3rd Place in National Class, 97.48 2002 Virginia, Marching Buccaneers won the James Madison University Band Competition and awards for Best General Effect, Best Visual, Best Music, and Best Color guard, and highest score in the class AAAA category!
2002 Syracuse, NY Second place in National Class at the NYSFBC State Championship at the Carrier Dome with a score of 98.32 highest rating in school history.
2003 Syracuse, NY 3rd in the NYS Field Band Conference Championships National Class The Marching Bucs received a score of 97.33.
2003 Allentown. Pa The Oswego HS Marching Buccaneers placed second at the USSBA band competition, in Class VI. Best Music award.
